Duet Reformer Classes
We offer "duets" (two clients) Pilates Reformer Classes at our private studio. The difference between a class and a semi-private appointment is that your classmate may change from week to week and the class time is set by the studio. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. You must sign up for class at least 12 hours in advance. This is an advanced beginner/intermediate level class and not intended for persons who are new to Pilates and Pilates equipment. Pilates Reformer experience and instructor approval required.

Mat Pilates Class Description
Mat Pilates classes teach the Pilates mat exercises in a familiar order with contemporary variations for individual bodies. Expect to begin standing for warmup, then work on the floor for most of the class. Seated options are available. We provide props including small exercise balls, looped elastic bands, Pilates Magic Circle and Therabands. You will bring your own Pilates sticky mat, at least 1/2" thick. We do not recommend thin yoga mats for Pilates.
Barre + Pilates Class Description (private, semi-private)
What is "Barre + Pilates?" It's Pilates "plus" nontraditional standing bodyweight exercises done in the center of the room or at a ballet barre, AKA "barre." Barre + Pilates classes are 55 minutes, divided into ~35 minutes of standing exercises followed 20 minutes mat Pilates flow. Barre may include aerobic dance style movements and ballet-inspired exercises, and NO DANCE EXPERIENCE needed. Classes begin with a standing warmup for stamina, balance and strength, followed by upper body exercises with light weights, barre exercises for stronger legs and glutes, and Pilates mat exercises.
Our Pilates mat flow may use the Peak Pilatesstick for Pilates "reformer on the mat" exercises. We provide props including small exercise balls, looped elastic bands, Pilates Magic Circle and Therabands.
