🌳 Private Studio Logistics & Etiquette

Since this is a Private Studio setting, these boundaries help us remain professional and considerate neighbors:

  • Arrival: Address is provided upon booking and confirmation. Please arrive 5 minutes before your session begins.

  • Parking: Please park on the driveway directly behind the black minivan or on the street directly in front of the house.

  • Entry: Please use the driveway and designated sidewalk to enter the Private Studio.

  • Please remain within the Private Studio area and the designated restroom (second door to the left).

📍 Off-Site Group Class Locations

  • Locations: Circle C Community Center (7817 LaCrosse Ave) and Dance Xplosion (9600 Escarpment Blvd #750).

  • Commute: Parking is free. Please allow extra time for traffic and school zones; classes start promptly at the published start times.

 

💳 Scheduling & Automated Payments

We utilize a "wallet-free" system through PocketSuite (available on iOS, Android, and desktop).

  • The 90-Day Planning Window: Private and Duet clients may book standing appointments up to 90 days in advance to secure preferred appointments.

  • No Membership Required: This window guarantees your spot without locking you into a monthly membership. On the day of your session, you pay the Single Class Rate or buy a new package to apply to that day's session.

  • Payment Timing: If you do not have a prepaid package, your card on file will be charged the Single Session Rate that day.

  • The Package Perk: If you purchase a package during your visit, we will apply that day’s session to your new package instead of charging the single rate.

 

🚫 Cancellation Policies

  • Group Classes: Notice is required by 11:59 PM the day before your scheduled class.

  • Private Sessions (1 person): 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule without penalty.

  • Duet Sessions (2 persons): 48-hour notice is required.

    • Late Cancel Fee: Any cancellation with <48 hours' notice results in a $25 Late Cancel Fee for the canceling partner.

    • The Partner Bonus: If your partner late-cancels, the remaining partner receives a Private session for their standard duet rate.

    • Early Cancel Choice: If your partner cancels >48 hours in advance, you may move appointments or "Upgrade" to a Private for your duet rate plus a $25 upcharge.

 

🧘 Studio Safety & Conduct

  • Proper Attire: To ensure privacy and ease of movement around moving equipment (springs and ropes), please wear fitted clothing that covers the torso, hips, and thighs. * Prohibitions: Loose clothing, such as flared/boot-cut yoga pants or baggy sweatpants, is not permitted. All pants must be fitted at the ankles.

    • Hair: Hair below shoulder length should be secured away from the face with a headband or ponytail holder. Complementary "soft loop" hair bands are available in the studio.

    • Footwear: Pilates is performed in bare feet. "Sticky socks" are optional and strongly recommended if you prefer wearing socks.

  • Substance Policy (Safety & Liability): Students must not be under the influence of alcohol, marijuana, or any regulated/illegal substances.

    • Strike One: If the instructor determines a student is impaired, the session will end immediately and deducted from the package or charged at the published rate.

    • Strike Two: A second instance will result in the permanent termination of the client relationship.

  • Pain Management: For your safety, please do not attend if you are using pain-masking medications (OTC or prescription). Pain is a vital signal that helps prevent injury. If you require medication to move, please reschedule, and consult your doctor.

  • Health: Do not attend if you are ill or contagious. Please notify your instructor of any changes in your health or medical condition.

  • Fragrance-Free: Please avoid heavy perfumes or sprays before class to maintain a comfortable environment for all.

  • Animals (Insurance & Liability): Due to insurance requirements, no pets or other animals are allowed in the Studio or any shared spaces, including outside areas.

  • Children (Insurance & Liability): No children (age 12 and under) are permitted in the Studio. They may be allowed in the waiting area only with owner approval in advance. Minors 13+ are welcome with a signed parent/guardian waiver.
